The Milestones

The signing of the Gas Sales Agreement marked the culmination of 3 years of negotiations between PowerGas and Pertamina. The negotiations began with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on 15 September 1998 and intensified following the signing of the Letter of Agreement on 22 September 1999. The signing of the Gas Sales Agreement on 12 February 2001 sealed the efforts of all parties in establishing a mutually beneficial relationship between Singapore and Indonesia.
